The deluxe, luxury motor yacht, Safari Quest comfortably accommodates 22 guests in 11 gorgeous staterooms. All staterooms face outside with windows. Each has private facilities, climate controls and ample space to hang and store clothing.
Dining
Meals are served in the Dining Room in one unhurried seating with fine views through panoramic windows. Breakfast is a wide selection buffet and lunch is often served family style. American chefs prepare wholesome and varied menus.
Public Areas include a Lounge with bar and facilities for films, slide shows and lectures; Library; Sun Deck with chairs; Outside Deck area for viewing. The open Bridge policy allows you to meet officers and crew. Special Features: Zodiac landing craft, sea kayaks, snorkeling gear, wet suits.

Single Travelers: There is a single cabin. In addition, any stateroom may be sold as a single for 175% of double-occupancy rate.

Cruise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Loreto, boarding Welcome to Baja California Sur! You will be met at the airport and taken on a tour of the local area before boarding the Safari Quest. Step out on deck with your fellow travelers, champagne in hand, to toast the brilliant Baja sunset before dinner. The ship will anchor in a quiet cove this evening.

Day 2: Kayak Adventures After hugginh the shores of the Baja Peninsula, the ship will drop anchor while the skiff and kayaks are lowered. Your crew assists during an on-the-water excursion into a small river that flows into the Sea of Cortés. The Expedition Leader guides you along the riverbanks where plants and animals take advantage of a steady source of water. Return to the yacht for an afternoon spent relaxing and searching for sea lions and whales.

Day 3-5: Whale Watching and the Midriff Islands These days are spent watching whales and dolphins, visiting islands in the Biosphere Reserve, hiking with the Expedition Leader in the desert, and swimming, sailing, and snorkeling in turquoise waters. During the late spring months, you’ll observe the largest rookery of Heerman’s Gulls and Elegant Terns in the world.

Day 6: Santa Rosalia Continue your exploration of the Sea of Cortés as you cruise south along the Baja coast. There may be a stop for beach combing or kayaking this morning, then, you’ll stop in historic Santa Rosalia to explore the town. Re-board the yacht as it continues south to a quiet, scenic anchorage.

Day 7-9: Wilderness and Water Sports These three days will be a perfect combination of relaxation and adventure. You’ll beachcomb and hike, discover the landscapes, flora, and fauna of both the peninsula and the islands, and simply enjoy the scenic beauty around you. Spend time with massive pods of dolphins, riding beside them in the skiff as they leap and spiral out of the water. You’ll enjoy barbeques on deck and hot tubbing under the stars. And the only interruption to your siesta will be due to whales spouting off the bow.

More than 91 days in advance are subject to a $500 cancellation fee.
Between 90 - 61 days: forfeit of deposit.

Between 45 - 31 days: 75% of fare.
Between 30 - 0 days: 100% of fare.
