OverviewPacific Catalyst II, Inc. offers unique, intimate, small ship cruises in the sheltered passageways of Southeast Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, all aboard the historic wooden vessel, M/V Catalyst. Explore the inlets and small coves that the big cruise ships leave behind, traveling shorter distances and exploring in depth the beauty around us. It is hoped that by drawing closer to the nature you have come to observe, you will leave with the appreciation of the need to steward it wisely.
Itineraries explore, hike and kayak the San Juan Island and Gulf Island archipelago, up and down the Inside Passage formed by Vancouver Island through the Great Bear Rainforest and the islands of British Columbia and into the protected waterways of Southeast Alaska from Ketchikan to Glacier Bay National Park and Reserve.
MV Catalyst is available for whole boat custom charters, as well as offering its itineraries as individual cabins and whole boat charters. Travel with no more than 12 passengers and a three to five-person crew. Pacific Catalyst II, Inc. is authorized to operate in the Tongass National Forest and Glacier Bay National Park and Reserve by special use permits from the USDA Forest Service and the National Park Service. They also have arranged protocol agreements with the First Nations in British Columbia. | ||
